ASUS WL-138g will not connect on a Vista 64bit PC.
The WL-138g Control Centre does not work with Vista, but you should be able to use it via Windows. Nope.

Spent ages, best was it said it connected but could not access the net.

Googling just throws up loads of stuff about people having trouble getting various wireless cards to work with Vista 64 bit.
Netgear, Dlink, ASUS whatever..........

Anyone successfully got one (any) to work properly?
And what magic trick did you use?

You could be right, the drivers work , (there are drivers for 64 bit) but the program for it is hopeless

You may want to check out the forum for it (http://vip.asus.com/forum/topic.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=WL-138g&board_id=11)

One person found that Marvel Libertas SoftAP Utility (this I think) (http://www.marvell.com/products/wireless/softap.jsp)

Or PCTel Segue SoftAP which has been discontinued worked. They had to find it on Emule

This may or may not help (http://www.nat32.com/nat32e/htm/asus.htm)
