Is it possible to integrate XP SP3 (yeah i know you can) AND IE7/WMP11? as i download and install them alot and wud make life easier if they were installed along with XP. How do I go about making a bootable disc, every guide i read uses a version on nero I dont have, and can never find the boot image section, so my discs never boot....

Use something like Nlite for XP, SP3, and XP's updates

Nlite has an option to make an ISO (after you add the updates, it'll make an ISO)

Then you use something like Nero, to burn it to cd and it'll be bootable

You'll need something like this to slipstream WMP 11 (http://www.boooggy.org/slipstreamer/)

Thats what I've done. I slipstreamed XP / SP3 / IE 7, WMP 11, with their updates.

And if I format, once I've done a clean install, XP is up to date

If you want to test it, I would install Virtual PC or something like that, and capture the ISO Nlite makes.

Then run it like you would, if you were doing a clean install

I've used ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/)to extract the boot image from an existing XP disc and then used it as well to create the bootable disc.
I've followed this (http://www.howtohaven.com/system/slipstream-xp-service-pack-3.shtml) to make the disc.
Pretty sure you can use nLite to integrate WMP11 but not sure about IE7.

You can integrate IE 7 with Nlite, but the link I gave is better for WMP11.

All you have to do, (with the WMP 11 SS), is point it to the copy of XP on the hdd. And add the updates you want

It'll add it to the XP folder

I did manage to find a file that also SS Net framework 1.1 / 2, 3 (and their SP's) and 3.5 as well

It saves me adding them after I reinstall XP (its about 46 mb)

That is the exact opposite of what I do-I remove IE7 and add in FF or Opera!

BTW you'd want to make sure you burn the iso to a CD at the slowest speed possible, such as 2x or 4x to avoid corrupted files and errors
