I have a 80gb HDD which is sda that I have reformatted to Ext3 and I can not work out how to get it to mount.It is blank and shows as 74GB.The fstab looks ok although the disk shows as HDa1.

The UUID has likely changed - easiest way is just to mount by device name rather than UUID.

I have now put mint KDE on hda1 and it detects mint gnome on hdb1 but when i boot hdb1 it still does not detect hda1.
