Had my dell Inspiron 1501 for 1 and half years now, it recently is deciding that it turns itself off at random times i suspect its overheating and the fans maybe is due for a change or dust? How could i check the problem and also how do i take it apart? many thanks

u should check the fan speed some times a virus or a registry corruption might destroy the original settings here try this http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php u can control the speeds of the fan see if it helps
