Hi

I have windows 2000 on the old PC and wanna play m4a files. How do I go about doing it for wmp9? I prefer not to install more software cos the system is slow enof.

Dont think it can.

You 'll have to either install Itunes / Quicktime (which won't work with 2000 anyway). Or something like Winamp

Or a codec, like this (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/3ivx.htm)

Itunes for Win 2000 (http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/itunes732forwindows2000.html) - Winamp may be better though.

Edited: VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) will also play M4a.

Thats if you were getting the latest version of Itunes.

7.3.2 is probably the last version that supported it
