Well so far it appears to be at least anyway.

The Ads (for me currently at least) appear to have had their location messed with during the upgrade to the latest forum software.

Also, now when you sign up it'll ask you a Question instead of the Captcha filtering.

New sign-ups will be enabled shortly

Post here if you run into any issues or notice anything amiss.

Big thanks to Erayd for all his help - Without him I would have had to hit "Y" 868 times to upgrade all the files, to say the least ;)

Hopefully the clock should be in a better state too! :)

Well done guys! :D

I know most will be excited at the correct time on the forum , but the new vBulletin options should mean no more having to sort through over a 100 registrations each day to find the real users vs spammers/bots! :banana

wainuitech

Yep Naming - See above :D But it only stays on the reply the poster submits, not on every other one after that.

So... Is there a "Report Post" version for tags?

roddy_boy
22-10-2008, 04:38 PM
Haha jamuz is dryballz. Awesome. Also whoever wrote ban roddy_boy, you can have more than one word per tag.

Jen
22-10-2008, 05:02 PM
Hmm ... the adding of tags has been disabled for now. The mature use of that new feature appears to be well demonstrated.

This is something the Mods can discuss over whether it is of benefit to have it enabled.

No, I was just going to lay claim to my work.

What is this guilt of which you speak of? is it made of cloth?

Thats the universe restoring balance, Text is meant to be black, Its a law of nature.

Now if the universe can enable the img code we will have harmony in nature....we do want that don't we?

It is, None of the hands are moving at all, I assume the batteries are flat, Still, Its a damn fine clock, carved out of Kauri and given to us by the wife's parents.

That and a bag of lambs tails. Not that I had any idea what to do with a bag of lambs tails without offending the old boy, So I just told him I aint eating that ****.

:crying:crying That needs to be fixed - makes it easier to highlight certain instructions.Yeah, I believe a few little tweak's need to be done, so hopefully that will be fixed then. I've had a looksie around at the options and they look *OK* at the front-end.

How is some random person that wants help going to know where the PCWorld HQ is?

Chilling_Silence
23-10-2008, 02:21 AM
We're currently reviewing the questions. There's only 3 ATM, and the one about PCW HQ really should go. We needed something in there though, and it was 2:30AM when I wrote them :P

I smell a new suggestions thread coming on.... ;)

That's why you wait a bit. :)We jumped from version 3.6.2 to 3.7.3 in the upgrade. Safe to assume we had waited a bit to make that move. :D

I've had a looksie around at the options and they look *OK* at the front-end.Well I think I have found a solution to the AWOL colour picker involving one of the forum templates. It can't be tried until we cover our butts first so Chill or the web guy needs to take a look first. :)
