I have the XML file I need to print labels, I just need to make some
alterations to layouts etc. So... can anyone suggest an editor for someone who knows nothing about XML programing. Gotta be simple !

Oh yeah, looked at windows notepad, but am hoping for something with some guidance !

Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm). I've used it for editing a myriad of XML files, also has a very clean and simple user interface.

Yep, notepad++ is a nice editor, and I usually edit xml files with a plain text editor too (vim/gvim), but the OP is looking for a bit of help with xml.

XML Notepad presents the document in a visual structure as opposed to plain text with some pretty highlighting.
