I can access by going on xtra mail site.
Reinstalling IE5.5 and OE5 didnt help.
Pinging site returns no errors.
Xtra cant work it out.

...this sounds like a problem with your *.dbx file - the Outlook Express message store.
The following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article should assist:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q233/2/64.asp

...okay, at least you have eliminated one of the likely faults.

How *frustrating* this must be for you.

You provide none or little detail - but will presume your DUN and Modem settings are correct (ref. Xtra) and that 'reinstalling IE5 and OE5' was done correctly.

This being the case, I lack the expertise to advise any further.

However, I might ask myself the following questions:

(i) Has Xtra given me accurate data for correct configuration?

(ii) Did I follow best practise when 'reinstalling IE5 and OE5' - Microsoft Knowledge Base Article refers:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q256/2/19.asp

(iii) Is my Internet Browser cleanly installed and correctly configured.

(iv) ...Is my registry tidy following all the above(??).

Best wishes.

...oh, and by way of post script, I'd draw attention to the excellent comments by *Allan Cottrell* on my later posting - 'How to Manually Uninstall and Reinstall Outlook Express'...

Cheers
