I downloaded and installed windows vista service pack 1 last night and now everytime i reboot i get this black ms dos box with another box telling me this as follows, C:\windows\system32\MSLATE-1.EXE The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction CS11ad ip:01c6OP:63656e74 65 Choose to terminate the application.

What does this mean and how do i stop it from popping up after i reboot.

Is something from Roxio installed??

It looks like some fix from this company can cause that error.

Or it may mean that something you've installed recently isnt compatible with Vista
