Hi Everyone

Anyone know what the voltage output is to the front panel LED's is on a typical ATX motherboard?

Possibly 1.5-3V?

Do you have a voltmeter to test it?

Yea I do have a voltmeter somewhere just thought it might be easier to ask then search for the damn thing.
Will have a go finding out when I get home from work.

Probably be about 2 volts for the standard colours

But checking with voltmeter is your best bet

Was between 1.2V - 2.0V, depending on the computer and connection.

It should be 5V open circuit, but it's fed through a resistor calculated to give about 20mA depending on the forward voltage of the LED. The forward voltage depends on the colour.
