Hi Guys

After spending several hours cleaning "SpywareIsolator" from a neighbours PC,
I got to thinking of registry cleaners.
I have never used these, but would like opinions/ advice from those who have and if they are effective.
A Google search brings up a few that look interesting, but you can never tell if these are being promoted by those who seem keen on putting malware on your PC.
Personal experiences are a much better guide.

Cheers

Registry programs are not a cure for malware> Use proper antispyware for that.

CCleaner is one of the better de-clutter programs for removing temp files, cookies and some registry entries.

None of them, ever, clean out the registry properly.

What's wrong with yellow snow?

BTW, who misses the free lollies in the drinking troughs?

The popular ccleaner as mentioned above is ok, but I also use about 2 other cleaners including clean my registry (http://smartpctools.com/clean_registry/index1.html)which some times picks up additional registry fragments...
