Nod32 isnt working on the computer, so i went to uninstall it and it comes up with (114) Setup.xml file is damaged or missing. So i searched for setup.xml and deleted it, emptied it from recycle bin, tried to uninstall it again and same thing happened. tried installing it and a message came up Uninstalling of the previous version failed. Please uninstall it manually and run the installer again - I search for everything Nod32 and delete, it comes up with more error messages - http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p218/deno240/untitled-1.jpg I go into task manager and end all tasks with nod32 in the name, it will end but less than a second later it pops up again... can anyone give any advice on what to do? I have no working AV at all at the moment on my pc!!

Shut down NOD first.

Then use Hijackthis misc tools Delete on Reboot for those persistent files.

Then go through the registry and delete all NOD references there too.

Shut down NOD first.
It wasn't open in the first place.

Then use Hijackthis misc tools Delete on Reboot for those persistent files.

Try using ccleaner it finds stuff in the registry
