Safari 3.1.1

Ok I have enabled the "Develop" menu, however when I right click on part of a webpage and select inspect element the web Inspector window comes up but it's empty, I have left it for 5 - 10 mins just in case it's a bit slow, but no luck so far

Dammit I forgot the other question

haven't got some sort of blocking in place have you ? Just tried it ( same version of Safari) and This what I got (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/Web.jpg), but it was minimized in the task bar at first.

I have tested with my firewall turned off and it made no difference, so unless something in Safari is blocking it, it's probably not an issue

That would be the latest version. The update was mostly related to security issues

Have you got all the relevant info from the ADC link at Apple for Safari on Windows?

How do you enable the develop menu in Safari on Windows?

To enable the develop menu, go to
preferences --> Advanced --> then select "Show Develop menu in menu bar"

Ok it seems to be working now, quite a good little tool

Yep It is fairly good I'd been playing with Xray and MRI, but neither gave quite the same level of detail

I have heard those same comments mentioned a lot lately from reviewers about other new apps from ****, SJ is a fan of attention to detail. Have you checked out any of the tools in my signature link?

Yeah, I remember giving the developer tools in Safari for Windows a spin a while ago which although interesting were nowhere near as usable as Firebug (http://www.getfirebug.com/) for Firefox. In a couple of weeks Opera is releasing their developer tools suite dubbed Dragonfly (http://dragonfly.opera.com/).
