A friend sends me an email and every time it has a box with this in it,how does he switch that off?

An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 37
Char: 1
Error: Object Expected
Code: 0
URL: mhtml:mid://00000002/
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

With yes or no to be clicked b4 proceeding?

Get him to thoroughly scan his PC. There is usually no reason to be embedding javascript into valid emails - most times when this occurs the mail template has been poisoned by a virus.

I assume you're viewing it with either Outlook or Outlook Express? That looks like an IE script-error message.

I am indeed viewing from Outlook Express.
He has tried sending to himself and there is no prob.
Does that give more clues.
Are we talking malware scans or what?
