I have no first hand experience but have read many reports of greatly improved speed with the RC's over the last 2 months, haven't read any bad reports.

I will buy any computer mag that has it and put the disk in my folder with my other essential pc disk's and wait and see what people think, if its good/bad are like before using it.:D

Well, if it comes out next week, I'll be doing a reinstall and trying it out

Soon find out if its any good.

I installed the latest RC and didn't see any speed increase at all on the workshop system I was playing with. :groan:

Well that does sometimes happen, just like some pcs see the same performance in Vista SP1 as Vista RTM, but some pcs (eg mine) I see around 50% performance in copying files, and opening Windows Explorer and Control panel takes less time. (2 sec to half a sec) these are NOT benchmarks ok? I was just counting the seconds :)
