I'm either getting a error where it says it is unable to sign me in at this time and tells me to try again later or it says that the service is temporarily unavailable.

I clicked troubleshoot and it pass the test everything is green ticked.

I suppose its not my computer thats acting up?

I had been having the same problems until now.

I went Start>Run and typed regsvr32 softpub.dll

(Found it on http://msn-errors.blogspot.com/search/label/error%20code%2080048820)

Worked great

If you think softpub.dll is the prob, there maybe a prob with Cryptographic Services

i would do this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798)

If any of these apply
