When was the last time, it was going properly?

Does it boot into safe mode?

WHAT did you install , or WHAT were you doing before it started rebooting?

What are you running? Vista or XP? I read an article the other day that said a Vista Windows security patch caused some PCs to go into a infinite reboot loop.

Yup this update (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937287)

And just to make everyone's day, Vista SP1 will also break some programs (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935796)

Until you update them

If it is an older machine it can be one of several causes.
Try lowering the bus speed.
Then you might try reinstalling the operating system, if you have the disk.

Yeah, what OS, and what do you mean when you say repair? HDD Repair? System Recovery? Formatting?

probably a windows repair ran from the XP install CD. Vista doesn't have a repair option.

Yeah, the best solution if stuck in a infinite reboot loop in Vista is to boot into Safe Mood and system restore to a day or two before the update was applied.
