Yet ANOTHER thread on Xnet from you... :groan: I though Jen said to keep it all in one thread?

As for your question, call them  and ask directly

Yup, nothing to join, all I had to do was, buy the modem/router.

Just make sure there's a spare connection at your exchange, wherever you are.

All you'll have to do is change the username/pw in that router.

To your Xnet username/pw.

It only took 2 days for me to get connected. I think it was a Wednesday, when I applied online

After I brought the modem. Xnet sent my logon info in an email.

Put the info in the router. By Friday I was on it and conected.

Well you have to apply online or ring them obviously. To get on it

Nothing to join, and if you say you were referred by an Xnet customer they get a credit on their account. Can't remember how much it is, but it's worth it IIRC.

I wouldnt have a clue, ring them, interleaving whether its on or off, may make it better, or worse.

I got same day switchover from Ihug to xnet. Depends how busy they are..

Funny thing though, My ping to xnet is always in the 90's.But this makes no difference to d/load speeds.
Download between 4000Kbs and 5000Kbs.
Upload over 700Kbs
Not a glitch of any sort.Been with them for a year now.

It depends on how busy Telecom are as they do the changes and Xnet can only activate the account when Telecom advise the porting to Xnet has been completed.
