Hi
Have got a new printer, Epson CX5900.
Looking back through my records I used to buy ink from "Computer Food". Just wondered who was the best, Cheapest supplier nowadays.

Consumables is also a good option.
Have a look at your more pro camera shops ..

Watch for specials. Noel Leeming's just had ink at 15% off, ended today.
Harvey Norman have had 20% in past.

NL CX5900 colours were $15.29 v's Computerfood $17.49

There's a lot of Epson stuff around
at 10 bucks a shot. You could be lucky.
I was ... FOR A 'C59' !!

It's also worth checking Trade Me. Along with the refillers and new cartridges from businesses there can also be spares sold cheap by someone who's printer has died. I sold a spare toner cartridge last year after the lightening hit took out the fax/printer.

Theres cheapink.co.nz, inkvenus.co.nz but they aren't always reliable cartridges. No problems getting replacements but I stick with Computer Food too now.
A bit more expensive but they never give problems.

Computer Food (consumables.co.nz) is the one I would benchmark with.

If you are buying quite a bit .. and maybe other bits and pieces .. I use a NYC store which is also mailorder company. And they (paper and ink) are half price vs here. I bought a few other photog stuff that NZ doesn't had so took adv of the shipping convenience. Booked it Wednesday night, now (Friday noon) its already at Hawaii after going from NYC to Kentucky (Louisiana).

DSE have their own branded cartridges for Epson printers which is slightly cheaper than the Epson ones.

Not too sure about the quality though.

Be very cautious about so called 20% off specials. Some retailers up the RRP so 20% off comes down to around normal price.
This is common practice with companies who sell generic ink so the crappy stuff looks cheaper.
There is no such thing as cheap ink.
It costs in quality or poor prinhead life.

Not the best price, there are one or two slightly cheaper, BUT they can be a bit iffy getting them to work. Computer Food is RELIABLE as well and give good service, so for a few cents more I also recommend you stick with them.
