Could someone please tell me what PaperPort 11 is used for?. Comes free with the Mag subscription and needs 200mgs of disc space.
Have tried reading the booklet but still can't follow what it does. Help appreciated Ron..

It lets you scan documents. Its like an OCR (optical recognition character program) I think.

So, it helps if you've got a scanner.

The site for it is here (http://www.nuance.com/paperport/)

Many thanks Speedy for the help. Have looked at the site and it's very impressive, also the price, if you had to buy it (199.99 US). More than I need at the moment so I will still stagger along enjoying what I have installed.

You could buy an el cheapo Brother printer or the like and they'll give it to you for free. I got it when I bought my Brother MFC a couple of years ago. Just a thought but the program itself is very good.
