Hi there: from time to time when I update album information in windows media player it returns track information in 'Kanji' when the album cover and name are in English. This particularly happens with classical music.

any ideas?

Being classical there is an awful lot of track editing required if there is not an auto way of dealing with this.

Possibly a problem with Microsoft's media information service?

Whats your computers OS, Vista?
Whats your computers region setting set to?

Hope this helps.

If feersumendjin's idea doesnt work you could always try installing i-tunes and using their service to find track and album information. I dont know whether it will differ, but you could try. Hope this helps.

Windows XP SP2 and Media Player 11. Regional settings all seem to be NZ. Interestingly this only appears to be a problem with Classical CD's.
