I dont think the site is the prob. Because when u use IEtab. Its OK.

And in IE 7 its OK.

This is the stuff site in Firefox (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/ff.jpg)

This is the same page in IEtab (http://www.imagef1.net.nz/files/ietab.jpg)

The Netguide site does the same thing in Firefox

Any ideas?

I see this a lot with my Register, My LATimes and other newspaper subscriptions...I have played a little with the text size (CTRL+ or CTRL-) and gotten some changes..but I don't know for sure what's going on.

Is Netscape code hiding in both of the sites that mess it up?

Somehow I seem to remember that Netscape and Mozilla are on the same platform.

Very poorly written page.

The page author has put that too-big picture there and FF tries to display it completely. IE and Opera cut the picture's right side off.

What the author should have done is to widen the page, but that would mean scrolling sideways.

Thats right. I think FF was based on Netscape.

And they're based on the same source code, I think.

FF should be wrapping the text. I got 22 inch wide screen and it still overlaps in FF.

Yeah, maybe FF should be wrapping the text, but then it would cut off the right side of the image. You still lose something. The page should have been designed properly from the outset.

Looks like IE and Opera have taken one option, and FF the other.

The only pages that I view that do that in FF are the TV3 website. Pretty much everything else is great.
