Hi Folks. An elderly machine running XP Pro at present. Primary disk is three parts, C - programmes, D - Swap and E - Data.
I am giving the machine to an old friend who has (he says) a legit copy of XP Home and, anyway, I do not wish to part with the XP Pro system.
What is the sequence of cleaning the drive completely, including the operating system so that when I give it to him he can start afresh?
Thoughts appreciated. ;)

Get DBan (http://dban.sourceforge.net/) To wipe the bugger off with no trace. Then give it to him :2cents:

It's easy enough to format the drive and all partitions using XP's installation disk.
