Hi there. Anyone no where i can buy a 478 mobo that has 4 184pin ddr slots Like the: ABIT IC7-G SOCKET 478 or the IC7-MAX3 or the 8KNXP.

I have 4x 512mb GEIL ddr400 sticks of ram with the blue cooler covers on them and a celoron D 2.66mgz.

Theyre pretty hard to find and pretty much obsolete.

There's some here (http://www.xpcomputers.co.nz/pinpai.asp?pinpai=46)

BUT, theyve only got 2 ram slots.

When my old one died, this was the closest shop to me, that still sold 478 pin mobos.

There's not a lot around. Unless u get a 775 pin mobo, that uses DDR ram.

BUT, you'll have to replace the mobo.

Yeh tru anways I have gone with the ABIT IC7-G I got a person on trademe that had one like new from a ABIT wherehouse cleaance.

Mobo I just got:

thinking about geting another 320gb hdd or 2x80gb hdds.

yeh the cooler stands 138mm high. Has a 90mm thermaltake fan on it. Can install 80mm or 90mm on it and on both sides to use as a push plull setup cooling. http://www.xoxide.com/clp0025.html

hm........I can see maybe you'll haev fun fitting optical drives into any case that cooler is inside......

Fits no problem I have the ASUS DL DVD lightscribe drives thay are shorter then normal drives Plus I have the 9 bay icute s901 5s case. :) loads and loads of room. :)

I have the Black version with 250cm side fan. 120 front fan and 2x 80mm rear.
