Everywhere I look online the E6600 is more costly than the E6750, why is this?

2.4 vs 2.66 GHz, E6600 and E6750 respectively.

Why?

I'm about to get a new system built around a E6750 on an ASUS P5KR motherboard so it looks like I made the right choice.

Particularly happy that the E6750 seems to run at a lot lower temperatures than my current Pentium 4 3.0ghz
