What is meant by the terms 'pure' and 'hybrid' in the context of Obect-oriented.
Also does anyone have examples of 1st Generation Programming, 2GL, 3GL, 4GL.

A 'pure' object-oriented language is one that conforms to the principles of object-oriented programming (see the article in the link below), whereas a 'hybrid' language uses only some aspects of object oriented programming combined with the older linear programming model. Microsoft's Visual Basic is an example of a hybrid language.
