Heya, looking for some cheap speakers for pc, they don't have to be high quality, or uber sophisticated. Just basic speakers that can be used to test with, or play a childs CD.
I have looked on TradeMe and came across some Ozaki brand speakers. Anyone used these, or know of another cheap speaker brand that is actually pretty good?

I know they're a pretty cheap brand, dunno about the quality. probably just your standard cheap speakers.

Main problem I notice with cheap speakers is plastic case/parts rattle at certain frequencies/volume levels.

Altec Lansing are good, I think(?)

Genius ones are quite cheap. Have a look:

They are actually quite good, I ran them for 5 years and never had a problem and they look good too.

I have a set of these Genius speakers, they are better than you might expect given their size and price, I got mine for $25. They do look modern as well.

I'd use the logitech R10s.

Hmm I picked up a set of TDK Tremor S-40 speakers (2.1) from Trademe some time ago for $25. They retail at DSE for $79 :D

Can't seem to see any on Trademe right now but if they do show up then I'd recommend them easily. A friend of mine got the S-80 and is equally satisfied.

But if you're after some immediately then the Logitech R-20 set should be fine (http://www.pricespy.co.nz/pno_6438.html).
