Hi John,

It sounds like there may be some shortcuts in your startup folder that have been put there by a program you installed.

Try cleaning out your startup folder first off - start/programs/startup - delete any shortcut that refers to the poker & solitaire games, also delete any others that you know you don't need.

See how that goes for a start.

Hello,
Thanks for your help I have solved the startup programme problems.
However, I have been unable to sort out the autoexec error that comes up. Everytime I startup an error stating that the file '. cannot be found. I have tried to alter my autoexec file but I have not been able to do this. Any ideas?
