I've set up a hub using YnHub 1.033 using my internet IP as the HUB address.

When I connect using DC++ to a LAN IP such as 197.168.1.3, it allows me to connect however when i try to access it using the internet ip, it says:

*** Connecting to XXX.XXX.XX.XX...
*** No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

is there anything i need to do to my pc to allow me to connect via the internet? e.g. configure options...

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated

What sort of internet connection do you have? Broadband? Or dialup?

If you have Broadband what sort of modem have you got?

Im on broadband with a Dynalink RTA1335 router - which is shared among 3 other computers if that helps :)

I don’t have that same type of modem as you so I can’t tell you exactly how to config your router, but what you need to do is open up the ports that DC++ use & then forward those ports to the computer that’s running DC++ server

Ok... how would I find out what ports dc++ uses?
