Hi all,

I need to do a reinstall of XP on a friends pc and hes lost his office disks (duh) :yuck: but all his email is in outlook and he wants it in outlook express.

I can export the contacts using the .csv file, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a way to export the actual email data so outlook express can recognise it.

Thanks,

Dean

If he had more than 1 PC, he could send the emails to himself, and then open OE to get them.

And you could try this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/177123)

For the contacts

Its most probably the same for later versions.

Have a look at this site. http://www.aid4mail.com/?rf=g_convert_pst
I used this program once and it works great, even managing attachments. The free trial is restricted to (I think) 25 MB so I exported in several chunks!
