My computer has suddenly decided to show me a notice on startup that says

"RTHDCPL.EXE illegal system DLL relocation. The system DLL user 32. dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLLC:\Windows\system 32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

Everything seems to be running reasonably well, how do I get this message to disappear. What on earth does it mean? How on earth does Microsoft expect normal people to understand that? These are philosophical questions I realise, some of them, but I'm about ready to buy a Macintosh.

But still buy a Mac, one of those octo core beasts (http://www.apple.com/nz/macpro/), mm.

Thanks, I did in fact start out with a Mac, but when I went to buy a new one firstly it was about 4 or $500 more expensive than a PC, which I was prepared bite the bullet and pay, but then they wanted $250 for a cable to connect my old printer to my new Mac and another $250 odd for a floppy drive. I concluded they didn't want to sell me anything after all, particularly after somebody told me I could have got a cable from DSE for about $16. I would still like one, largely because they look beautiful.
