Event Manager

[LIVERPOOL FOR THE CUP]

I am a newcomer to your site. My PC is HP Pavillion 6700 running Win XP.
I have been trying to open Event Manager but Windows will not let me, simply giving a "tell windows about this" box. Can anyone offer advice? All help much appreciated. K.

Try start>run>eventvwr.exe....

Thanks, Solmeister - did as directed. Got the Ev. Man. dialog box up (as previous) but when clicked on Applications is when got the "Report error" and closed.

are you logged in as administrator?

also check the service, restart it if req'd
