Hi,
Does anyone know why the time and date that mail is recieved is showing around 21 hours previous to the actual time it is recieved. I have just sent myself a message to confirm. Sent at 9.57 am, shows as recieved at 12.56 am on 21.01.07. My clock is showing the correct time and date. Cannot seem to find any way to fix.
RNY.

Is the time in the BIOS the same as the time in Windows?

Check the timezone of your computer, you'll find it under "Date and Time" in the control panel.

Hi,
Thanks, time and zone are both ok, Speedy, what you suggest is foreign territory to me. How do I check and adjust in BIOS?

Go into the BIOS / general tab / main screen most probably.

I don't know what key u press, its different on different computers. It might tell u on the post screen. Press xxxx to enter the BIOS or something.

It shows the time. (Where it may also show the floppy and where the IDE options are).

Make sure the time there is the same time in Windows.

I found this out when I went to update the time in XP.

It couldn't update it coz the time in Windows was different from the time in the BIOS (the BIOS was 5 hrs behind), after I forgot to change it after updating the BIOS and resetting the BIOS to its default settings.
