I have today loaded Acronis' OS Boot loader. I have now decided that I do not want it but cannot work out how to remove it. I assume that it is somewhere in BIOS? Am I right? Can anyone help me remove it please?

Bryan.

Have you checked in Settings/Control Panel/AddorRemove programs to uninstall it?

Uninstall the program, I don't think it'll be in the BIOS.

uninstall Acronis OS Selector in one of the following ways:

Windows 95/98/ME boot from Startup Disk and run "fdisk /mbr" command;
Windows 2000/XP boot from Installation Disc into Recovery Console and run "fixmbr" command.

Boot loaders get installed in the master boot record (MBR) - the first 512 bytes of the disk separate from the normal partitions.
