When I turn on my computer on the system box after a few seconds it goes off , If I turn off at the power on the wall for say 30 seconds or plug into another power point it normally goes then but sometimes it still just boots for a few seconds and then goes off.
Any idea whats wrong?

Maybe your power supply is starting to fail.....sounds like what happened to my old system when my PSU was failing....I suggest you go to a computer store and ask them if you could try booting your PC with a new PSU.

My guess, for what it is worth, is an overheating problem.

I say this because we seem to be getting to summer.

It could be the PSU if you have added more hardware like another hard or optical drive and the old power supply can't cope.

It might be good to post more information regarding the system box.

Do you get more than one beep when booting?

What are the system specs and what operating system are you using?

I would go for the overheating as well. That is exactly what happened to me when I did this (http://www.pressf1.co.nz/showthread.php?t=61283).

Check the processor heatsink and fan. Sure to be overheating protection.
