View Full Version : Can't read emails after AVG update

I've updated to AVG Free 7.5 yesterday.

For some reason, my email client (Outlook Express) gives me an error message when I try to get my email (ERR.AVG Pop3 etc.etc.). Any-one had the same and know how to fix this?

have you let the email scanner through your firewall?

Any idea what the filename will be on ZA? AVG something?

And you checked your email settings are correct too didn't you?
Yes the firewall will mention either AVG or Grisoft.

If you have Zone Alarm on your computor make sure that it's email scanner is off - It doesn't work with AVG email scanner.

Hi guys

Thanks for the help - there was nothing wrong with my email accounts - Xtra had a bit of a problems on their side and it has been sorted.
