does anyone have a bandwidth limiter for broadband to download? I know you can get things to set a specific data rate to be used for a program,but i'm looking software that lets me choose to run my broadband connection at 256k,128k,1mbps,etc.

I doubt it.

What u pay for is what u usually get. It would be nice to control the speed but then you wouldnt have to pay for it.

:angry its the best plan in new zealand. its the plan if u want a new computer for xmas cuz u will :badpc: do that to ur conputer.. but in the other hand u might hang urself cuz its too god dam fast

net limiter pro 2 is a bandwidth shaper program allows you to define up/dl speeds for any program + firewall settings etc


i've used it for about 5 months works great

I know there's lotsa scripts if you're keen to setup a small linux box to do traffic shaping / QoS etc

Ive seen / used a few others for windows, but as mentioned by panther2, netlimiter.com looks like the go :)
