Hi
I am wanting to voice over certain parts of a song, so I can change what it says . Has anyone got any ideas how I would go about doing this?
Thanks
Mike

I know there are apps which let you do this but the one I know is "band in a box" and is costly. It allows you to do multiple track recording and so you can feed a mic in on one track. It is a great program tho and you can do all sorts and get professional results.

this program is excellent and i've had a copy for years.........it'll allow you to 'mix paste' which means you can 'overdub' as you wish to do.......try it

You can do this in Audacity ( http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ). It's a free, open source program that provides all sorts of advanced editing options. You can record to a new track, record your voiceover in fragments and edit out mistakes, or pretty much do anything. Take a look.
