My PC has been infected with the following:

My AntiVir Guard was able to detect it but unable to remove it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated on how to get rid of it. Did a google search on how to remove them were futile.

You could also Google for a program called "a-squared" it has fixed up several friends computers with Trojans.

Good luck

I use a program called Trojan Remover. You have it free for 30 days after which you have to buy it. It quickly scans your computer for trojans and bad registry keys on startup, only takes about 2 - 3 minutes. The deep scan is really good as well and it will get rid of every trojan under the sun.

Download Ewido Anti-Malware (http://download.ewido.net/ewido-setup.exe) Install Ewido Anti-Malware Double-click the icon on Desktop to launch EwidoYou will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files. On the top of the main screen click Shield Click the word active to change it to inactive On the top of the main screen click Update. Then click on Start Update. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed. If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido. (http://download.ewido.net/ewido-signatures-full-current.exe) When you have finished updating, EXIT Ewido.

Please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. To boot into Safe Mode, please restart your computer. Tap F8 before Windows loads. Select Safe Mode on the screen that appears.
In Safe Mode, run Ewido. Click Scanner Click on the Scan tab Click Complete System Scan to begin scanning. When the scan is complete click Recommended Action and change it to Quarantine Then click Apply all actionsOnce finished, click the Save report button, then click Save Report As. This will create a text file.

Make sure you know where to find this file again (like on the Desktop).
Restart back into Normal Mode.

Please download HijackThis (http://www.cyberanswers.org/forum/uploads/HijackThis1991.exe). It will create a directory folder for you in C\Program files. Run a scan and save the log file. Post the whole log file here. Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required). This program will help determine what,if any, spyware/malware is on your computer.

Please post back with a copy of the Ewido log and the new HijackThis log.

Thanks for your advice. I have downloaded quite a few trojan horse removal software. Most were not able to remove all. I have reformat the harddisk and just completed a clean install. Thanks once again.
