View Full Version : Outlook Attachments ??

Hi guys

I have a customer who has an interesting problem
They are using XPPro SSP 1 and Outlook 2000.
They receive daily, a report via e-mail that is basically a HTML document.
Up until last Thursday this was working correctly but things have changed.
When they receive the email, the paperclip shows in the attachment column.
If they single click the e-mail, the content of the attachment shows in the preview pane.
If they double click the e-mail to open and view in full pane, they have a blank document with just the header information, sender, date, time, subject etc.
After this blank document is closed, the paper clip is now missing from the attachment column and if reopened, all is blank.

The strange thing is that this is only happening when sent from one sender, but this is a multiple e-mail to many other receivers at different sites and they are all receiving these e-mails correctly.
I can send them an e-mail with HTML attachment and this arrives and opens correctly.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have been on to the MS Knowledge site, but have not found anything that seems pertinent.
