about ervery half an hour i keep getting this error message

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

and then my computer disconnects from the internet and when i reconnect no page will open so i have to restart my pc please someone help me
is it a virus

Your symptoms sound similar to a computer with WM32 Blaster/Lovsam Virus.

You can get hold of a removal tool here (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html)
Run it, and if you are infected, this SHOULD remove it. Then update with this patch (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/security/bulletin/MS03-026.asp)

Also, for future reference, get an antivirus and keep it updated. AVG is good for a free one.

i downloaded an ran fixblast but it did not find any objects
do you's have any other ideas ?

It looks like it has something to do with the MSblast worm, is your version of Windows up to date?

I would also get ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com) to get rid of all the temp files etc on the hdd.

I wonder if you are also using a Aztech usb modem.... ???

Fyi, We recently purchased internet line for one of our site office (local ISP SingTel). They installed ADSL modem (Aztech206 USB modem) and Internet is working fine. But 5 minutes later the attached error message pops up and there after internet is not working. Then need to reboot the PC then reconnect again. Again it is working for only 5-8 minutes then the above message pops up. The link (i.e. two small computer icon is still on at the right bottom corner of the task bar) and shows that the connection is ON. According to SingTel, they say it is our PC problem; they have tested with their own laptop and no problem. From my end, I tested with 3 PC (all same Acer running on WinXP, 2 of them notebook and one desktop) and hit by same above error message. It is very strange. I have many other Internet connections for our remote site; I never had any such problem before.
