View Full Version : Fix drive letters on multi-boot system

31-12-2000, 09:56 AM
I operate a dual boot system (Win2000 on one drive & ME on a second drive). Use Bootmagic to choose which system to boot to. All data files that need to be accessed from either system, are stored independently in their own partition which is set up on the Win2000 drive. Problem is that the drive letter for the data partition changes back and forth each time you boot to the other system and file locations have to be re-set.
Is there anyway to fix a letter for the data drive/partition so it remains constant regardles of which system is booted? The data partition does not have an os on it.

Thanks in anticipation
