I've got my spare computer set up as a battlefield 1942 server running Ubuntu Linux. It has 2 network cards (the windows drivers for the onboard one always made windows bluescreen, so I added another network card. they both work fine in Linux).

I want to keep 1 network card set to 192.168.1.4 for my home network, and the other set to DHCP for when I take it to LAN games. Can I set up my bf1942 dedicated server to listen on both network cards? At the moment it only listens on the 192.168.1.4 network card.

When you take it to lan games, you wont be using the one that listen to 192.168.1.4? I.e., you only intend to use one at one time?

In that case, you can use ifconfig to take down the one you are not using, and bring the other up. Something like ifconfig -i ethx down | up. See man ifconfig.
