View Full Version : Excel 'Not enough memory'

Hi All

I have a just updated a large workbook (750kb) with new formating and some additional formula. The bulk of the VBA code resides in a seperate referenced .xla file. All has gone well for 3 years BUT I have just started getting 'Not enough memory' error messages when the code goes off to open a related workbook. Also if I try and reformat a block on a worksheet and get the same message.

I use excel 5c as I need to cater to the LCD amongst our users.

My Win 98 PC has 128mb RAM so that doesn't appear to be the problem. Also Application.MemoryFree reveals 133,611,520 bytes.

I have read some references to Cell Tables, Heap Space and other seldem spoken about Windows memory limitations.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what may be causing the excel/programming resources to dry up and what evils I should seek out and destroy.

TIA for ANY help at all.
