HI,I was wondering if all the KB uninstall update files in the Windows Folder can be put in one folder or deleted as I guess the monthly updates would not be normally uninstalled.Would my 'tidy up' cause problems.rdee

Good Question, I have 93 of them!

Google suggests:

"These folders contain the uninstall information for the update you install. That means that you will be unable to uninstall an update if you delete these folders.

You may leave them there unless you need hard drive space.

If your system is stable, and if you no longer plan to uninstall an update, then go ahead and remove the corresponding $NtUninstall..... folders."

Right after I made my post above I downloaded the latest CCleaner, 1.30.310 and installed it. When arranging the settings the way I like them, I discovered that it has an option to clean up the $NtUninstall folders. look on the "Cleaner" tab under "Advanced". :)
