Just had to scan my laptop after Paradise reconfigured our account and had to do a reconfigure of the wireless network. the scan picked up 4 instances of the above virus but would not heal it. Anyone got aclue as to what I should do to fix it?

Open Java from inside Control Panel, Look down to Temporary Internet Files, Delete Files.

Get the latest Java version 1.5.0_07-b03, or it will happen again.

thanks zqwerty, I went to the java website but I couldn't find v1.5.0_07-b03
they don't just offer a download of the latest version or offer them by number. I was never quite sure what java did anyway? Can you post the link for me please?
Cheers,
Rob

Do the same as I advised in my first post in this thread but instead use the internal update available in Java.

It must have updated itself as on pressing the update button it says that it already contains latest definitions. Thanks for your help.

In the Java Control Panel, press About, that will tell you the version you have.

so what is this "Java Plug-in 1.3.1_15", which is shown in Control Panel with it's own Icon?
Cheers,
Rob
By the way it still tells me that I have 1.5.0_06-b05 and when I try to update tells me I have the latest definitions?????
