Hey all,

What email clients are people using? I have been using Outlook but I've never been that impressed with it. I'm also making the move to openoffice so would like to get rid of MS office and outlook.
Would like to know peoples opinions on other email clients please?

Cheers,

Vic.

Eudora.

There is no choice as far as I am concerned, have used it or years.
No need to change.

I use Pegasus, good spam filtering and also the option of checking the mail headers before you download to your machine.

Eudora. Not flawless but pretty good. Used it for years.

Pegasus is great and written by our own David Harris. I have used it for 10 years and to quote Godfather, "No need to change."

Foxmail 6, been using Foxmail since the 16 bit version 1.6 for Windows 3.x

It is excellent and can be recommended. The only problem is the 'Help' is in Chinese :)

Mozilla Messenger here.

Tried Eudora a couple years back - found it to be pretty average.

I've got Outlook 2003, but it's of no use to me more than a contact list.

O/E,used it for years and see no reason to change.
Saw a preview of M/S Vista email system,it will be even better.

Thank you Bill and keep up the good work.

Isn't getting mail just getting mail? I mean, as long as I get it does it matter who delivers it? I mean, what are the advantages of say Thunderbird over OE... is the mail scented or somesuch?

Outlook - the least worst combination software for PIM/Mail client management
It has plenty of quirks but it can be driven by VBA from Word/Excel/Access etc and vice versa. If. like me, you run a business (in the 'real' world ;) )then this connectivity is must have.
