Will the unbundling allow "peering"? If u don't' know what peering is u can find out here:

I would hope so, but it depends on the ISP's really.

We will just have to wait & see what happens :)

No it won't have any effect on that. The local loop carries whatever data is put on it by the ISPs. It's hardware.

"Peering" is a commercial arrangement between ISPs.

telecom don't currently allow peering with other isps.

Telstra don't peer at the public exchanges either. Peering is by definition zero cost to both parties... you can see why there is $$$ for Telstra and Telecom not peering.

More regulation required ... hehe.
