I'm using Dreamhost at the moment (www.dreamhost.com), where you can get hosting at quite cheap rates using their referral program.

I think the three main ones are:
http://www.site5.com/
http://www.dreamhost.com/
http://www.hostgator.com/

Go to http://webhostingtalk.com/, and research up on them, and make your decision.

Just a note when you read through lots of negative feedback. Often it is only the people that have problems that complain, and so while you might read many negative comments about (insert name here), there might be a thousand other happy people for every negative complain.

For that sort of usage a VPS would be the only way to go www.webdrive.co.nz are NZ based and provide VPS servers that will meet your needs.

If you must go international, hostgator.com have a good rep.

Site5 and dreamhost I wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole. :xmouth:

 Trademe is a NZ accessed site mainly and they would host their website on their own NZ based servers. For those requirements (and a reliable service) you would be either looking at a dedicated server or a VPS or shared server with a few people. You get what you pay for with hosting, and cheap often equals crapp.
