Came across Errorsafe tonight. I ALT-F4d all the screens it threw at me and Firefox blocked some pop ups.
Will it now be stuck in my system somewhere?

Google has both ads promoting it and ads for removing it...
Should I be scared?

Look up my signature for HJT log analysis. Welcome to PF1 :)

Cheers :)

Thanks for th Hijack analyser - one minor glitch identified but nothing to do with errorsafe.
Then when I though all was well - errorsafe windows popped up in Firefox... drat.
Running AdawareSE now to see if it'll fix the problem.
More soon

Boot into safe mode run HJT again, tick these entries and tick fix checked.

You may have this (http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/w32rbotnk.html)

I would also update XP.
